Telling stories has always fascinated me. I remember learning about our ancient ancestors painting images of giant livestock across the deep recesses of damp caves, and I couldn’t help but romance the art. More importantly, I love how it transformed the tribe, how it shaped the reality for the next generation of hunters. The power and impact of storytelling has been wired so deeply into our collective psyche, and I knew I wanted to harness this craft.

My journey began as a documentary filmmaker, allowing me to travel to over 50 countries, meeting inspiring individuals in every corner of the globe. What I’ve learned along the way are some of life’s key virtues. Things like patience. Things like perseverance. Things like abundance. Key tenants of what it means to live a successful life.

Those inspired conversations not only shaped my way of seeing the world, but eventually led me to found SOWN, Storytelling for Social Good, which is dedicated to giving away films for free to non profit organizations all across the globe.

Along with using my camera and lens as a means of storytelling, I am also a speaker, touching on subjects that inspire individuals toward action. To inquire about speaking opportunities, click the button below.
